This is a Vintage 1950's gray designer Maxwell Shieff Beverly Hills gray semi-sheer silk chiffon party dress. This designer is a rare find and it is also rare to find dresses from this era in larger sizes. This would probably be a size M today, shown on a modern size 8 curvy mannequin. Underneath has a sweetheart strapless dress with boning so this would maximize cleavage.
Condition: lining appears removed from the waist to the hem. you can replace it will a light colored slip that just covers the bottom half of the dress or wear it semi sheer. dress does have boning in the breast area, it feels a little weak from age. also has small repaired area it appears near the zipper. cannot tell if worn.
