This is a vintage 1930's black crepe A Princess Royal Creation hand beaded dress. This is not in perfect shape but is pretty great for its age. It does need some repair to the beading, does have a few seams pulled (not ripped, just pulled a little), has a little discoloration on the waistline backside (could probably be dyed or covered with a different belt.
SHOWN ON A MODERN DAY SIZE 8 MANNEQUIN. THIS ERA OF DRESS IS NOT EASY TO GET IN AND OUT OF. THE IMPORTANT SIZING IS GOING TO BE THE HIP AREA TO GO OVER YOUR HEAD/ARMS AND THE WAIST LINE AREA. IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LARGER DRESSES OF THIS ERA. THIS ALSO HAS ALREADY BEEN FRESHLY DRY-CLEANED FOR THE BUYER. THIS WOULD TECHNICALLY PROBABLY BE A SIZE MODERN DAY 10 OR L BUT I LISTED IT AS A MEDIUM BECAUSE IT IS HARD TO PULL OVER THE HEAD AND YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL DOING IT.
CARE: THIS IS ALREADY DRY-CLEANED, MUST BE DRY-CLEANED IN THE FUTURE, NO HAND WASHING OR WILL SHRINK MATERIAL.
